A New Chapter
Today is Friday December 30, 2022, and this is a new day, a new blog and a new adventure. The Christmas trees will come down in a day or two, I have five, just so you know, and I will begin my next chapter. What will 2023 bring? No one knows but whatever comes I hope to greet it in a positive, engaged manner. First, a little about myself. A single senior, lover of gardening, decorating, thrifting. I have a rescue dog and cat. I own my own home which I was able to buy thanks to my inheritance. I quit my job in 2016 to move in with my elderly parents and I cared for them for about five years. Now I live in East Tennessee and am getting comfortable being retired and living alone. This blog will be more for me than anyone else and will allow me to record the days, weeks, months and years that are my future.
